Australia’s best gymnasts vying for the title of National Champion
The 2026 Australian Gymnastics Championships will take place at the Quaycentre, Sydney Olympic Park, from 28 June to 20 July 2026.
The Australian Gymnastics Championships is the most significant gymnastics event in the country, bringing together the nation’s top Artistic, Trampoline, Rhythmic, Aerobic and Acrobatic gymnasts from every State and Territory. The event program will open with Artistic Gymnastics, before showcasing all other Gymsports, uniting Australia’s best athletes at the pinnacle of the sport.
The 2026 Championships will serve as the final major showcase for Australia’s Artistic Gymnastics Team ahead of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, providing fans with a rare opportunity to see the country’s top gymnasts perform in peak form on home soil.
In a major innovation, Gymnastics Australia will introduce a Mixed Team Artistic Gymnastics competition at the 2026 Championships, following announcements from World Gymnastics and the International Olympic Committee that this exciting format will feature at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. The mixed team event brings together Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics athletes in one tactical, fast-paced competition, delivering a fresh and dynamic experience for both athletes and spectators.
