Drop Off / Pick Up

A public drop off and pick up point is located at the at the rear of the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, by accessing the service road and driving around to the Northern entry of the building.

Taxi

A designated taxi rank is operational in front of the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre. The closest stadium entry / exit point for the taxi rank is the main Southern entry (box office end).

Driving

The address of the stadium is 296 Nerang-Broadbeach Road, Carrara. Beneath the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure building is under cover car parking for 400 vehicles — access to this car park is along the service road and down the western side of the facility. There are additional complimentary outdoor car parks located behind the Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium (in between the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre and Metricon Stadium) — access to this car park is along the service road and continue down the western side of the facility following the road around to the open car park.

Overflow car parking will be across the road in the Alabaster Drive car park.

Persons requiring disability car parking

There are a number of disability car parks located within the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre undercover car park. The car parks offer ease of access to either the Northern or Southern lifts. Guests can then make their way to Level 1 where the National Clubs Carnival will be located.

Food Outlets

The Gold Coast Sport and Leisure Centre offers a nice varied selection of food options in the ‘Courtside Café’ where diners can relax on the outdoor veranda overlooking the precinct. There are Kiosk Outlets located within the venue foyer that can also cater to those wishing to purchase food to eat whilst enjoying the Gymnastics.

This multi-purpose community facility opened in early 2017 and comprises two indoor halls connected by a pedestrian plaza. It supports a large range of sport and community facilities including function rooms, change rooms and administrative facilities. The mixed-use sports courts are designed to accommodate court sports including basketball, netball, indoor soccer, badminton and more.

The Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre provides world-class competition and training facilities capable of hosting international sporting events such as the badminton, weightlifting and wrestling competitions during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games™.

The show hall also has the ability to be transformed for major sporting events, corporate banquets, exhibitions and trade shows.
